AGRA, Oct. 25 -- Illicit liquor worth around Rs 25 to 30 lakh, being transported from Haryana to election-bound Bihar, was seized by Aligarh police from a location within the limits of Banna Devi police station in Aligarh. The driver of the truck fled after cops asked him to stop. Subsequently, vigil was upped to check supply of illegal liquor to Bihar, said SP (city) Aligarh Mrigank Shekhar Pathak on Friday. 'The truck was moving from Jhajjar district of Haryana and heading for Bihar when intercepted. The driver fled away. The police recovered 387 boxes of liquor of seven brands, but no document for transit was found from the vehicle, against which many challans were issued in Bihar," added the SP....
