Lucknow, March 20 -- The rapid currency sanitising machine, developed by the Centre for Advanced Studies, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), has got a patent certificate. Prof Anuj Kumar Sharma, associate professor, teamed up with research student Mahip Singh and developed it in 2020 when the pandemic was raging. The machine uses 5 micron aerosols to sanitise the notes. The weight of the machine is 4.5 kg and sanitiser consumption is 10,000 notes per litre and it starts sanitising with note-counting automatically, Prof Sharma explained....
