AKTU celebrates its 25th Foundation Day
LUCKNOW, May 9 -- Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) marked its 25th Foundation Day on Thursday with a series of events showcasing its journey and focus on advancing technical education across UP.
Addressing the gathering, vice-chancellor prof JP Pandey reflected on the evolution of the university. "Initially, the university was limited to affiliating state technical institutes and conducting examinations. Over time, it has expanded its role and contributed to redefining the technical education landscape in the state," he said.
He added that the university has remained committed to adopting digitisation and prioritising student interests.
"The soul of any university are the students. We will make every possible effort to connect student interests with new technology," prof Pandey said.
Pro-vice chancellor prof Rajeev Kumar said the university carries an added responsibility of excellence, being named after the former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
