AKTU, RMLIMS tie-up for research
LUCKNOW, Dec. 24 -- Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) will collaborate for research activities, seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes and others.
This was made possible through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between both the institutions on Tuesday.
The MoU will enable faculty and students to engage in cutting-edge, academic-relevant research, contributing to the growth of advanced modern technology in the field of public health and allied areas.
Emphasis of the research will be on simplifying medical practice through the use of new technologies, making it easier to treat complex diseases.
AKTU will provide technical support through emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, 3D printing, and nanotechnology.
The MoU was signed by AKTU vice chancellor Prof. JP Pandey and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences director Dr. CM Singh.
"The memorandum of understanding will also help equip faculty and students with new technologies, thereby contributing to the development of advanced technologies in public health and related fields. The general public will directly benefit from this when both institutions will share technology and resources to ensure use of new medical technology for making treatment easier and cheaper," said JP Pandey....
