Akhilesh: Why doesn't RSS chief ask Centre to adopt Swadeshi?
Lucknow, June 16 -- Criticising the presence of Chinese goods in the Indian market, Samajwadi Party chief and Akhilesh Yadav has questioned the Centre for supposedly not giving priority to Swadeshi in its economic policy.
The former chief minister was addressing party workers and leaders at the Samajwadi Party's state headquarters in Lucknow on Sunday.
"The BJP and RSS people talk a lot about Swadeshi. Why does the RSS chief not ask the central government to adopt Swadeshi? Today the entire market of the country is flooded with Chinese goods. The BJP government at the Centre is responsible for this." "Why is the central government not giving opportunity to Swadeshi products by stopping Chinese goods? Why is Swadeshi not in the priority of the economic policies of the central government?" asked the SP chief. He claimed the economic policies of the BJP government were completely unsuccessful.
"The central and state governments together are still cutting the ribbon of development works done during the Samajwadi government," the SP chief alleged. He also criticised the BJP government on the issues of education, health, electricity and law and order....
