Lucknow, June 25 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai on Tuesday alleged that the BJP government was trying to to commercialise Vrindavan through the proposed Banke Bihari temple corridor just like it did in Kashi and Ayodhya. "The corridor is nothing but a step to remove people's faith with Kunj Gali, where Lord Krishna is believed to have played, and other such streets with historical and religious significance will be demolished to reap benefits for the BJP," he further alleged at a press conference here. "All ancient cities have kept their original shape and culture but in Uttar Pradesh it is different. All of us know what has been done in Varanasi and in Ayodhya a Pran Pratishtha has been done at Ram Darbar. Can Pran Pratishtha be done again on the same temple campus?" Rai asked. "The ruling party is converting temples and ancient temples into picnic spots in Uttar Pradesh but the Congress is going to oppose it at all levels," Rai claimed....
