Air Marshal B Manikantan takes charge as AOC-in-C
Prayagraj, May 2 -- Air Marshal Balakrishnan Manikantan officially assumed charge as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Central Air Command (CAC) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Thursday. Commissioned into the IAF on June 7, 1986, Air Marshal Manikantan is a Helicopter combat leader and a qualified flying instructor, with over 5,500 hours of flying experience to his credit. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, he has also completed courses at the Defence Services Staff College, the College of Defence Management, and the National Defence College.
