Agra police launches 'eRaah' for smart e-rickshaw monitoring
Agra, Aug. 4 -- In a bid to digitise urban mobility and boost public safety, the Agra Police Commissionerate has launched 'eRaah', a comprehensive digital platform, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Sonam Kumar on Sunday.
"The eRaah web portal (https://eraah.agrapolice.in/) is designed to streamline e-rickshaw regulation, strengthen women's safety, and enable smart analytics-based surveillance," Kumar said.
He added that digital registration is a core feature, allowing e-rickshaw owners and drivers to register online through a secure login. Users can also live-track the status of their applications-pending, approved, or completed. Another highlight is the Smart Monitoring Dashboard, which gives police officials access to real-time data on registered e-rickshaws, application trends, and zone-wise statistics.
Through the QR Code System, each e-rickshaw and driver is assigned a unique QR code. Commuters, especially women, can scan the code to verify driver credentials-enhancing both safety and trust.
The portal also supports Route Mapping and Colour-Coded Zoning, enabling efficient allocation of zones and better traffic regulation.
eRaah empowers Agra Police with advanced data analytics for digital verification, route audits, and improved field supervision. It also features Women Safety Integration, where female drivers are digitally tagged, and their profiles accessible through QR scanning to ensure quick traceability in emergencies.
"eRaah is more than just a registration portal. It's a leap towards cleaner mobility, public trust, and women's safety through real-time visibility and accountability in public transport. This initiative puts Agra at the forefront of smart policing and e-governance," Kumar added....
