Agra metro starts e-bus service for city travel
AGRA, Sept. 12 -- The Agra Metro has started a new e-bus service from Taj East Gate Metro Station to Fatehabad. The buses will run at regular intervals and begin from near the Taj East Gate Metro Station, which is well connected by the metro.
According to a press release from the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) on Thursday, metro passengers can catch a train from their nearest station, including captain Shubham Gupta, Fatehabad Road, Taj Mahal, Dr Ambedkar Chowk, and Mankameshwar Metro Station. Mankameshwar Station is easily reachable from all parts of Agra. Just across the road from Mankameshwar Station is Bijli Ghar Chauraha, from where passengers can board the metro to Taj East Gate Metro Station and then take the E-Bus to Fatehabad. Officials said that the buses will run frequently and full timings have been shared with the public. The metro line will also connect important places such as bus stands, railway stations, and expressways, they added. The 6-km operational metro corridor includes Mankameshwar Metro Station, which is close to Agra Fort Railway Station. This makes it easier for travellers to reach the Tajganj area using the metro route, the press note stated....
