After tragedy, railways plans automatic doors
New Delhi, June 10 -- The Indian Railways is planning to introduce an automatic door closure system in all new non-air conditioned rakes on Mumbai local trains.
The Indian Railways will also begin retrofitting existing trains and plans to start trials from October, officials familiar with the development confirmed.
