LUCKNOW, May 4 -- Police in Saharanpur rescued a 17-year-old from an alleged suicide bid on Friday, according to a police note on Saturday. The girl, who lives in the Nakur area of the district, wrote a post on her Instagram in the afternoon that triggered Meta, which owns the platform, to send alerts to UP Police. Police said that a team from the Nakur police station, accompanied by woman constable, reached the minor's house within 10 minutes thereafter, and counselled her, who eventually assured them she would not repeat such a step. Between January 1, 2023 and April 30 of this year, UP Police claimed to have saved 875 people by responding to such alerts....
