LUCKNOW, July 18 -- Nearly seven months after the theft at Indian Overseas Bank's Chinhat branch, police on Wednesday initiated the process of identifying and returning the recovered jewellery to the victims at Chinhat police station. Affected customers, whose bank lockers were looted during the January 21-22 heist, arrived with documents and photographs in hopes of reclaiming their valuables. Police had recovered a part of the stolen jewellery from the accused and organised an identification parade to verify rightful ownership. According to SHO Shailendra Singh, about 25 victims were called in for the first phase of the identification process. However, not all victims were satisfied with the process....
