After NAAC A+, AKTU working to Offer Online Courses
Lucknow, Nov. 28 -- Authorities at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University are working upon building a framework for the online courses which are expected to begin in the next few months.
The initiation of online courses is now possible for the university especially after a NAAC A+ grade which was awarded to AKTU after re-evaluation on Wednesday.
Vice-chancellor AKTU Prof JP Pandey said that an internal committee is working upon creating a framework. "We are considering to start BBA (Intellectual Property) and BCA with 100 seats each. Besides, skill based courses which can run using virtual laboratories and PG Diploma courses in collaboration with industry professionals are being worked upon," said Pandey.
He shared that the modalities for the courses - once made will be sent to the Academic Council for approval. "If everything goes as per our plans we will be able to begin the online courses from March. One of the major highlights of most of these courses will be the industry collaboration," said Pandey....
