GORAKHPUR, Aug. 19 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday reaffirmed his government's commitment to ensuring prosperity in every household and noted that injustice towards any citizen would not be tolerated. At the Janta Darshan event held on the Gorakhnath temple premises here, he instructed officials to ensure speedy resolution of grievances. Responding to a widow's complaint regarding encroachment on her land, the CM directed officials to adopt a zero-tolerance policy in such cases. He ordered that her land be freed immediately and strict legal action be taken against those responsible. The programme was organised on the third day of the CM's visit to the city. Since the session was postponed on Sunday, over 300 visitors gathered at the temple on Monday. CM Yogi personally interacted with them, went through their applications, and assured them that the government would not allow any injustice. Financial support from the CM Relief Fund for medical treatment once again drew significant public attention. On Sunday, the CM said Rs.1,100 crore had already been disbursed from the relief fund this year. He assured complete government support for those seeking assistance and instructed officials to quickly prepare cost estimates and forward them to the state government for approval.
