Adopt zero-tolerance policy in encroachment cases, says CM
GORAKHPUR, Aug. 19 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday reaffirmed his government's commitment to ensuring prosperity in every household and noted that injustice towards any citizen would not be tolerated. At the Janta Darshan event at Gorakhnath temple, he instructed officials to ensure speedy resolution of grievances.
Responding to a widow's complaint regarding encroachment on her land, the CM directed officials to adopt a zero-tolerance policy in such cases. He ordered that her land be freed immediately and strict legal action be taken against those responsible.
The programme was organised on the third day of the CM's visit to the city in which over 300 visitors gathered. Yogi assured them that the government would not allow any injustice. Financial support from the CM Relief Fund for medical treatment once again drew significant public attention. On Sunday, the CM said Rs.1,100 crore had already been disbursed from the relief fund this year.
