LUCKNOW, March 27 -- As Class 12 students from various Boards await their results and look to get admission to undergraduate courses in the state capital, some degree colleges have already released admission forms while others plan to do so in the next fortnight. At National PG College, an autonomous college of Lucknow University, forms are available both online and offline for undergraduate and post-graduate courses. The last date to fill in forms there is May 31, entrance exams will be conducted from June 23-25. "The admission forms for BA, BSc and BCom will cost Rs 900, while forms for BBA, BBA (MS), BCA, BAJMC, BCom (Hons) and BVoc will be available for Rs 1000. An entrance examination will be conducted by the college," Devendra Kumar Singh, principal of National PG College, said. "Admissions to BAJMC, BBA, BCA, BCom-Hons, BVoc will be conducted as part of Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test (LUACMAT) while BCom, BSc (Mathematics Group) will be conducted as Lucknow University Associated Colleges Common Entrance Test (LUACCET)," he added. "The admission process at Isabella Thoburn (IT) College will tentatively begin from April 15 and the cost of the form will be Rs 900. The courses offered by IT College in affiliation with Lucknow University are-BA, BSc, BHSc, BCom, BEd and BLiSc," said principal Major Neerja Masih. "An entrance examination will tentatively be conducted by the college for admission to undergraduate courses on July 2," Masih added. Admissions at Shia PG College have begun and forms are available offline. The forms will be available online after the Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) process is initiated by the university. The cost of the form is Rs1,000 for BA, BCom, BSc-biology and mathematics, BBA, BAJMC. Admission will be merit-based, said Shia PG College spokesperson Pradeep Sharma. "The form for LLB and LLB integrated will cost Rs 2,000," Sharma added. "The forms for BSc-biology and mathematics, BCom and BA at Bappa Sri Narain Vocational PG College (BSNV) cost Rs 900 and are available online and offline," said principal, BSNV, Sanjay Misra. Forms at Shri Jai Narain PG College (JNPG) for BA, BCom, BSc-mathematics, biology, physics, mathematics and geology; zoology botany and chemistry; statistics and computer science, B.Ped, BEd, BBA, BCom Hons and LLB will be available for Rs 1000.
