Agra, Aug. 18 -- Accused of murdering her husband, a woman allegedly killed her father-in-law with the help of her partner here earlier this week, police said. The woman and her partner were later arrested. The woman, identified as Babli, was out on bail after she was released from jail 11 months ago. As per the complainant, Babli, her daughter-in-law, called her husband Rajveer Singh and asked for a meeting. Rajveer went to meet her near a farm on August 13, where he was allegedly killed by Babli and her partner Prem Singh, officials at the Baroli Aheer police station said. Rajveer's body was later found in the banks of the Yamuna, and a case was registered at Bamroli Katara police station of Agra on August 14 under section 103(1) (murder) of the BNS against Babli and Prem Singh. On Thursday, police spotted Prem Singh, who was injured in retaliatory firing by police. Babli, the main accused, was arrested in Bamroli Katara.
