AAP leader Sanjay Singh to lead padyatra from Ayodhya to Prayagraj
LUCKNOW, Nov. 11 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh will lead a padyatra from Saryu to Sangam, highlighting issues of unemployment and social injustice in Uttar Pradesh.
The 'Rozgar Do, Social Justice Do' padyatra will be held from November 12 to 24, 2025, beginning in Ayodhya and concluding in Prayagraj on November 24.
Informing media persons on Monday, Singh, who is also Uttar Pradesh incharge of AAP, stated that the padyatra also aims to address social discrimination and injustice, particularly against Dalits, and irregularities in reservations.
Singh appealed to the public to join the padyatra, stating it is a fight for their rights, not just a political event, stating, "Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of unemployed individuals in the country, with farmers, weavers, and small-scale industries facing economic crises."
