Jaipur, Aug. 23 -- Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday said artificial intelligence (AI) was emerging as a revolution rather than just a technology, with India rapidly making its mark in the field. Speaking at the AI Innovation Summit 2025 organized by the Jaipur branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Sharma said AI would significantly boost India's technological expertise and global standing. He added that Rajasthan was moving in complete alignment with the Digital India Mission and India AI Mission, and the state government was in the process of drafting a new AI and Machine Learning policy. The chief minister said his government was committed to leveraging AI to strengthen governance, improve services, and accelerate development, making Rajasthan a key contributor to India's digital future. Sharma added that the state was emerging as a leader in tourism, mining, and renewable energy sectors. He added that the government had signed MoUs worth Rs.35 lakh crore through the Rising Summit to boost investments. "To make the state power self-reliant, we will ensure day-time electricity supply for farmers by 2027. Our target is to create 400,000 government jobs and 600,000 private sector jobs in the next five years," he announced....
