8 killed, as many hurt in temple crush
NALANDA, April 1 -- Eight people were killed and eight others injured on Tuesday in a stampede at a temple in Bihar's Nalanda district, officials said. The stampede took place due to the heavy rush of devotees at the temple, barely 100 metres from Deepnagar police station. The Deepnagar station house officer was suspended.
