Bhopal, May 25 -- Eight racing horses, who were part of a group of 57, died allegedly of starvation and infection after being illegally transported by a businessman from Hyderabad to Jabalpur in MP, National Horse Breeding Society of India said on Saturday. A private firm brought 57 horses from Hyderabad to develop a farm in Rajpura, Jabalpur, between April 29 and May 5 without following due procedure. Eight died between May 7 and 13, it added.
