Jaipur, Sept. 15 -- At least seven members from two families, including two minors, were killed after the car they were travelling in lost control and fell off a bridge near Jaipur in Rajasthan on Sunday, police said. According to Shivdaspura police station house officer (SHO) Surendra Soni, the incident occurred at around 1am when the car fell off the Ring Road near the Prahladpura area. "The car was discovered by locals in the underpass at 12.30pm. The passengers were returning from Haridwar after performing the last rites of one of their relatives," Soni said. The officer said that the underpass was under-construction with locals rarely frequenting the area, which is why it took almost after 12 hours for the car to be found. "The accident happened due to overspeeding, following which it lost control on the overbridge, crushed a divider, and fell 16-feet down into the underpass which was filled with knee-deep water due to the recent rains," he said. All seven passengers -- three from Jaipur's Snaganer area and four others from Kekadi area -- died on the spot.htc...
