652 UP Board schools miss deadline to upload practical marks
PRAYAGRAJ, April 4 -- As many as 652 schools affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) or UP Board have failed to upload the practical examination marks of 34,637 Class 12 (Intermediate) students, posing a serious challenge to the preparation of their results.
Taking the lapse seriously, Board secretary Bhagwati Singh has forwarded a roll-number-wise list of the affected examinees to the concerned schools and issued strict directions to upload the pending marks on April 6 and 7.
The Intermediate Practical Examination-2026 was conducted in two phases from January 24 to February 1 and February 2 to February 9. As practical examinations remained pending in some institutions, the Board had extended the deadline for completing and uploading practical marks until February 13.
However, scrutiny of online records revealed that while external examiners uploaded their evaluations on time, internal examiners at 652 practical examination centres failed to upload the marks through their respective school logins. As a result, the results of nearly 34,637 students are now under threat.
Keeping students' interests in mind, the Board has decided to reopen the practical marks upload portal on April 6 and 7. All district inspectors of schools have been instructed to ensure that the pending marks are uploaded through the designated link available on the UP Board's official website, upmsp.edu.in. The Board secretary has issued a stern warning that failure to upload the marks within the stipulated window will lead to the affected students being declared 'failed'. In such cases, full responsibility will rest with the concerned internal examiners, school principals, and the DIoS for inadequate supervision, he added....
