VARANASI, Nov. 5 -- A 50-year-old man was found murdered in the verandah of his house in Basahi Jarmejerpur village, under Tahbarpur police station area in Azamgarh district in the wee hours of Tuesday. The man was shot dead in sleep. Police said that the deceased was identified as Ramjeet (50) and he lived with his brother's family. The motive for the incident remains unclear, said police. A police team, superintendent of police Dr Anil Kumar along with the forensic team reached the spot and met with the victim's family, and assured them of the arrest of the assailants.
