40 couples reunited at Lok Adalat in Azamgarh
VARANASI, Dec. 14 -- As many as 40 couples resolved their marital disputes by mutual consent and reunited during the National Lok Adalat, Azamgarh police said in a press communique.
According to the communique, the reunions were made possible under Mission Shakti 5.0 through sustained counselling and coordinated efforts by the Family Court, Azamgarh, and police officers. Both parties were counselled in a trusting and harmonious atmosphere, leading to the reunion of 40 families. Principal Judge, Family Court, Azamgarh, Ahsanullah Khan, said he was happy to witness the reunion of couples who had been living separately for several years.
