Lakhimpur Kheri, June 14 -- Two teenage boys drowned while two other teens were feared drowned in the Sharda river near Hasanpur Katauli village, under the Isanagar police limits on Friday afternoon. The spot where the boys drowned falls under the jurisdiction of the Sitapur district. Local divers recovered the bodies of two boys, identified as Avinash (17) and Utkarsh (16), while efforts were on to trace the two other missing boys, Rahul (17) and Devansh (16), all of Hasanpur Katauli village. Officials said the four boys of Hasanpur Katauli village of Kheri had gone to watch the neighbouring under-construction Debar Ghat bridge over the Sharda river near Akbarpur village of Sitapur district. They added that the four got into the Sharda river to have a bath and got carried away by the current. SDM Rajesh Kumar said flood PAC men had been deployed to search for the missing boys while coordination with Sitapur district had been ensured for postmortem and monetary relief. deo kant pandey...
