LUCKNOW, April 11 -- During a special late-night drive conducted across the city on Thursday night, the Lucknow Police challaned 396 people for drinking in public places, according to a police department press release on Friday. In a citywide drive against public drinking and hooliganism, police checked 2,224 people at 101 locations between 9 pm and 11 pm after resident complaints.
