Lucknow, Aug. 3 -- Thirty-two people were arrested after police raided an illegal hookah bar in Aliganj, police said. "A police team from Aliganj reached the cafe and discovered 25 hookahs with flavour pipes in use. When the staff failed to present valid documents for operating the establishment, the police arrested those found at the scene. Many of who were arrested are students, private employees, or engaged in small trades," said station house officer Ashok Sonkar. "The cafe owners, identified as Sandeep and Aleem, managed to flee the scene during the operation and are currently absconding," added a Lucknow police press note.
