PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 12 -- A three-year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the pumping set room in Ibrahimpur Dhakhwa under Aspur Devsara police station area in Pratapgarh on Thursday. It is alleged, her father, who has been absconding since the incident, killed her on Wednesday night. The father claimed that the girl died of electric shock, and called up his sister-in-law and informed her about his daughter's death in the morning. He has since then been absconding. On receiving information, the police took the body in its custody and sent it for postmortem. The girl's uncle and the villagers also claimed that the girl was killed by her father. Shekhar worked as a computer software expert in Mumbai. He married one Radhika Naidu, who also lives in Mumbai.
