LUCKNOW, June 14 -- : Three oil tankers parked in an open space in Sarojini Nagar were engulfed in flames on Friday afternoon, fire officials said, adding the fire was put out after tenders were immediately rushed to the spot. No injuries were reported in the incident, they added. The tankers belong to Indian Oil's Amausi bottling plant. "Given the scale and potential threat of the situation, a fire tender from each neighbouring station, along with available water browsers, was sent to the spot," said fire officer-in-charge Sumit Pratap Singh. "By the time firefighters arrived, the three tankers were engulfed in flames. Firefighters initiated a foam-based dousing operation, while water was sourced from the bottling plant," he added. According to fire department, additional reinforcements from Alambagh fire station and the safety team of Karam Factory joined the operation.
