VARANASI, April 11 -- Three men were killed when a speedy SUV collided with a bike they were riding near Jamdih under Mau district's Ghosi police station area on Thursday night, police said on Friday. The deceased have been identified as Bechan Yadav, 30, Pramod Yadav, 28, and Azad Yadav, 32, all residents of Bibipur village under the Madhuban police station area in Mau. The police said the accident occurred when the trio were returning home on one bike after delivering food to a friend's wife admitted to a private hospital in Ghosi. The impact of the collision was such that the three died on the spot. Following the accident, the SUV driver fled the scene. Inspector Pramendra Singh, in charge of Ghosi Kotwali, said the SUV had been seized.
