27-year-old man held in Haridwar, drugs worth Rs.3cr seized
Dehradun, July 7 -- A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Haridwar for allegedly possessing drugs of over 1.5 kg, valued nearly Rs.3 crore in the international market, police said on Sunday.
SSP Haridwar SP Pramendra Dobhal said a special intensive checking campaign is underway across the district to curb illegal activities in the run-up to the religious fair. "The arrested accused has been identified as Mohammad Mursaleen, son of Shaukeen Ali, a resident of Jola village in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, currently residing in Salempur under Rani Pur police station, Haridwar," he said. htc...
