MAHAKUMBH NAGAR (PRAYAGRAJ), Jan. 30 -- The post-mortem examination of bodies of devotees started around 4pm on Wednesday with a team of 10 doctors carrying out the procedures till late in the night. In all, 25 of the 30 bodies brought in, were identified. The health department provided ambulances to send bodies to different cities of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Gujarat. According to the in-charge of the postmortem house, the procedure requires nearly 30 minutes. Before the post-mortem examination, Panchnama (record of observation by five people) was prepared by cops at the Sangam nose police station at the Anatomy department's mortuary. htc...
