25 MLD sewage treatment plant commissioned in Moradabad
LUCKNOW, Nov. 29 -- A new 25 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) has been commissioned in Moradabad district under the Namami Gange Mission at a cost of around Rs.149.23 crore. The plant, built under Namami Gange Phase-II, will help keep the River Ramganga clean and strengthen the city's sewage management system, a state government spokesperson said. Equipped with advanced SBR technology, it meets National Green Tribunal discharge standards. Executed under a hybrid annuity model through a government-private sector partnership, the project increases total sewage treatment capacity under Namami Gange to 3,805 MLD across 168 STPs, marking a major milestone in cleaning the Ganga and its tributaries....
