VARANASI, June 27 -- A 21-year-old woman was found murdered near a tubewell in the outskirts of Fariha village under Nizamabad police station area of Azamgarh district on Thursday, police said. A police officer said that the identity of the woman was being ascertained.The officer added that as per the locals, the woman along with a man had reached the tubewell on Wednesday evening and people who looked after the tubewell, said that we asked both to leave the area, but they refused citing rain. On Thursday morning people saw the body of the woman lying there. Thereafter, they informed the police. SP city Madhuban Kumar Singh along with a police team reached the spot with a forensic team and investigated. According to the people, there were injury and scratch marks on the body of the woman and her clothes were in disarray. SP city said that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination and the cause of death will be clear only after the report was released. The matter is being investigated and the accused will be identified and arrested soon, he said....
