PRAYAGRAJ, June 17 -- Two teenage sisters were rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Prayagraj Junction after they were allegedly brought from Meerut on the false promise of a job. The person who brought them fled the scene after noticing the RPF team, leaving the girls alone on the platform. RPF inspector Gaurav noticed the two girls sitting on a bench at platform number one on Monday. Sensing something unusual, he called the operation Saheli team. The girls were questioned and said they were from the cantonment area in Meerut. One of the sisters was found to be physically disabled. At first, the girls tried to mislead the RPF team. They said they had come to find work. Later, they claimed their parents had died and they had run away from home because their aunt treated them badly. The women constables found a piece of paper with two mobile numbers. When the RPF tried calling these numbers, the people who answered denied knowing the girls. Since the girls could not give clear answers and their families could not be reached, the RPF team handed them over to the child line for their safety and care....
