Haldwani, April 11 -- Two minors were apprehended on Friday for allegedly raping a 9-year-old girl in Rudrapur, police said. Prashant Kishore, circle officer in Rudrapur, said the incident occurred on Wednesday night and came to light after the victim confided in her parents, who filed a complaint on Thursday. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested after investigation, said Kishore, adding that they were booked under relevant sections of the BNS and Pocso Act and produced in court on Friday, which sent them both to a juvenile reformation home.
