Jaipur, May 18 -- Two people have been arrested near the India-Nepal border in Uttarakhand for their alleged role in the robbery at Congress leader Sandeep Chaudhary's residence on Wednesday, police said on Saturday.
DCP in Jaipur (West) Amit Budaniya said, "Soon after the incident, we launched a manhunt at the Nepal bordering areas in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and also in Delhi to nab the four culprits including two of the househelps who robbed Chaudhary's house in Jaipur on Wednesday. On Saturday morning, one of the househelps and one of his aides were arrested from Uttarakhand's Banabasa where they have been hiding in a hotel."
The two arrested have been identified as Bharat Bist (28) and Hari Bahadur Dhami (29), both originally from Nepal's Sudurpaschim province. However, search is yet on for Bharat's wife Kajal and another aide Jebar," Budania said.

On Wednesday morning, Bharat spiked the tea of the MLA's wife and mother in the morning, called two of his other aides - Jebar and Hari after they fainted, and stole about Rs.7 lakh and several gold jewellery before running away," he said.
The station house officer of the Vaishali Nagar police station, Ravindra Singh Narooka, said, "The incident took place early on Wednesday morning when Chaudhary's wife Mamata (43) and mother Krishna (75) were having tea. Chaudhary was away from home while his 10-year-old son and 22-year-old daughter were inside a room."
"The family had hired the Nepalese couple only 10 days ago. Their verification was also not done so far as per the Jaipur police's rules," he said....
