LUCKNOW, July 24 -- Two men have been arrested for allegedly raping a physically challenged 13-year-old Dalit girl in the Hazratganj area. The arrested accused were identified as Sujal and Rohit alias Rocky, police said on Wednesday. The incident came to light when the victim's elder sister filed a complaint at Hazratganj police station on Tuesday, after noticing injuries and bloodstains on the victim's body and clothes. The FIR was registered under Section 70(2) of the BNS, Section 3/4 of the Pocso Act and Section 3(2)(v) of the SC/ST Act. The complaint stated that the accused lured the minor to the 1090 crossing area, where the crime was committed. ACP (Hazratganj) Vikas Jaiswal confirmed that CCTV footage and call detail records (CDR) analysis identified Sujal and Rohit as culprits. The footage purportedly showed the accused leading the victim towards 1090 crossing. With assistance from the surveillance team, the police arrested the two, who have been sent to judicial custody....
