PRAYAGRAJ, Dec. 1 -- The Cantonment police arrested two accused in an alleged conversion case and sent them to jail on Sunday, while the search continues for the remaining two accused. On Saturday, VHP workers allegedly barged into a prayer meeting held at a house by Christians in the Muirabad area under the Cantonment police station and raised slogans. Reportedly, VHP workers Amit Mishra, Shubham Kushwaha, and Vijay Pandey entered the ongoing prayer meeting near the Muirabad Church, claiming that inducements were being offered to convert people. When members of the Christian community protested, a heated argument broke out. It is alleged that some individuals even tried to attack Amit Mishra by strangulating him with a 'gumcha'. On receiving information, police arrived at the scene, brought the situation under control, and got the meeting closed.htc...
