LUCKNOW, Aug. 1 -- Two additional deputy commissioners of police (ADCPs) and three assistant commissioners of police (ACPs) of the Lucknow police commissionerate were transferred or assigned new roles on Thursday. In addition, the Naka station house officer has been sent to the lines. Among the key changes, ADCP (Crime) Ratnappalli Bansanth Kumar has been shifted as ADCP (South). Amit Kumawat, who previously held charge of the South zone, will now serve as ADCP (Crime). The exchange of responsibilities between the two senior officers is part of administrative restructuring to enhance operational efficiency. Vineet Singh, who was serving as ACP Malihabad, is the new ACP Law and Order. Sujit Kumar Dubey, the outgoing ACP Law and Order, will take over Vineet Singh's previous role in Malihabad. Abhinav Yadav is the new ACP (Traffic), Lucknow. The reshuffle also extends to police station-level leadership. "SHO Naka, Virendra Tripathi, has been sent to police lines. Meanwhile, inspector Arvind Kumar Rana, who was in charge of the Bijnor police station, has been moved to the Western zone, and Shivshankar Mahadevan, currently posted as additional inspector in Qaiserbagh, will now take over as the SHO of Bijnor," read an order issued by Lucknow Police on Thursday....
