New Delhi, June 23 -- The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Sunday conducted its full-length timetable trial run of Namo Bharat trains between Sarai Kale Khan and Modipuram---completing the 82 km journey in under an hour. NCRTC officials said that during the trial Meerut Metro trains were also running simultaneously with Namo Bharat trains and systems performed as per expectations. "During the trial, Namo Bharat trains ran at the maximum operational speed of 160 kmph across the entire 82-km stretch. The trains made stops at every station from Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram and covered the entire distance in less than one hour adhering to the schedule. This marks a significant operational milestone in the implementation of India's first Namo Bharat corridor, connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut," NCRTC said in a statement....
