180 underperforming SIs in Varanasi sent for special training
VARANASI, May 21 -- As many as 180 sub-inspectors with unsatisfactory performance were attached to reserve police lines, Varanasi after evaluation of their performance under a scheme for fair, transparent and objective performance evaluation for sub-inspectors started by Commissioner of police Mohit Agarwal.
To enhance their performance, these inspectors will be given three-day special training by additional deputy commissioner of police rank officers. The training, aimed at improving their efficiency, began on Monday at the Reserve Police Lines.
These 180 sub-inspectors were divided into 4 groups (45 sub-inspectors in each) and attached to the Reserve police line, said Mohit Agarwal, commissioner of police (CP), Varanasi.
He said that the special training includes parade, shramdaan for physical and mental empowerment of sub-inspectors, lectures by gazetted officers on new criminal law, cyber crime, CM dashboard, IGRS and various helpline numbers and evaluation scheme for public service and foot patrol in the identified area under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police.
In the three-day training, these inspectors will undergo physical training, parade and shramdaan, 50 minute each in morning session.
Additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP) Mamta Rani Choudhary, ADCP Protocol Sushil Prasad Ganga Prasad and ADCP (Gomti Zone) Vaibhav Bangar will provide provide training on CM Dashboard, IGRS, Helpline No., SI Assessment Scheme, Cyber Crime, New Criminal Law BNS, BNSS and BSA....
