16 new hosps added to NER panel: GM
GORAKHPUR, Nov. 15 -- The North Eastern Railway (NER) has added sixteen new private hospitals to its panel, said general manager Uday Borwankar.
Speaking at the two-day meeting of the Permanent Negotiation Machinery (PNM) held in Gorakhpur, he said specialist doctors in neurology, cardiology, and nephrology were being engaged under contract.
"The expansion of the ICU and pharmacy at Gorakhpur Railway Hospital is underway, and a partnership with Gorakhnath Blood Bank has been established to ensure adequate blood supply. Work on the Emergency Medical Block has also been accelerated," he added.
Principal chief personnel officer Manoj Kumar said that promotions would now be conducted through Computer-Based Tests (CBT), and preparations for JE selections via CBT had begun. Akhilesh Pandey, the president of N.E.
