15 more schools get UP Board recognition
PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 3 -- Uttar Pradesh Madyamik Shiksha Parishad has granted recognition to 15 more schools. According to an order issued on July 30 by special secretary (secondary education) Krishna Kumar Gupta, 13 in the Prayagraj region, and one each in the Meerut and Bareilly regions, received the affiliation.
This is the third phase of affiliation orders issued by the Parishad, popularly also called UP Board, following a nod from the state government.
Students from these newly affiliated schools will be eligible to appear in UP Board's High School and Intermediate examinations in 2027, said UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh.
In Prayagraj district, Smt Kusumkali Inter College in Belwania, Koraon was granted permission to launch intermediate-level humanities and science courses. Harsh Intermediate College in Handia has received direct recognition to start high school (classes 6 to 10) and intermediate-level science courses. Likewise, Anant Smarak Lal Inter College, Baijla in Jasra, has been recognised for High School (Classes 6 to 10) as well as intermediate-level humanities and science courses.
Previously, the state government had approved the recognition of 87 unaided secondary schools by the Board. Acting on a proposal submitted by the Board, the special secretary had recommended extending recognition to these schools until 2027. Out of the 87 approved schools, 29 are in the Varanasi region office, 27 under Meerut, 15 under Prayagraj, 11 under Bareilly, and 5 under the Gorakhpur regional office of the Board....
