LUCKNOW, July 17 -- Taking cognisance of a viral video showing a biker gang performing dangerous stunts on University Road went, police have identified and nabbed 10 individuals involved. They have been booked for reckless driving endangering public safety, officials said on Wednesday. The video, which surfaced online on July 14, showed a group of bikers speeding and pulling stunts near Lucknow University at around 12:20am, raising concerns over public safety and police surveillance. "The Mahanagar police launched a probe using CCTV footage from the ITMS system at the IT intersection. Investigators identified three motorcycles and tracked down ten riders," SHO Akhilesh Kr Mishra said. According to a press note, an FIR has been registered under Section 281 of the BNS, which deals with rash driving on public roads.
