Lucknow, Jan. 17 -- In a bid to curb procedural delays and improve administrative efficiency, the Uttar Pradesh Police headquarters has made it mandatory for police personnel seeking transfers to submit complete and updated service records when appearing before higher authorities. DGP Rajeev Krishna said the decision follows repeated instances where transfer-related files remained pending due to incomplete or outdated service details, even in cases where personnel had obtained permission to approach the headquarters.
