'UP setting benchmark in ecotourism'
LUCKNOW, Oct. 11 -- The Global Wildlife Fair 2025 started at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on Friday. Organised by the UP Eco Tourism Development Board, the three-day international event (October 10-12) is themed "Harmony Between Nature, Humans, and Wildlife". With participation from over 25 countries, the fair aims to promote responsible tourism models and international collaboration for biodiversity protection.
UP's dedicated pavilion drew attention on the opening day, featuring immersive exhibits on its rich forest landscapes, wildlife sanctuaries, and eco-friendly tourism infrastructure.
UP tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh said the state is setting a benchmark in ecotourism where nature, wildlife and people coexist in harmony.
