LUCKNOW, Sept. 19 -- UP's major tourist and religious spots will turn into open-air stages as the department of culture rolls out 'Sur Sadhana', a series of cultural performances to be held every Saturday and Sunday evening from September 27. From Janeshwar Mishra Park in Lucknow to Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya and New Assi Ghat in Varanasi, audiences will witness folk music, bhajans, classical recitals, dances, puppetry, and storytelling by local artistes. Temples will host spiritual readings during the final days of Sharadiya Navratri.
