VARANASI, March 15 -- District magistrate Satyendra Kumar on Saturday said that strict punitive action will be taken if anyone is found indulged in blackmarking or stockpiling (hoarding) of LPG cylinders. He further clarified that there is currently no shortage of LPG gas within the district and reiterated that distribution to consumers must be carried out as per established norms. The DM conducted a surprise inspection of the LPG gas cylinder depots belonging to Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum, located at Taktakpur.
